For thousands of years, the Jewish people have taken care of those in need.  That tradition continues through the work of the Jewish Federation.  Every day, here in central New Jersey and throughout the world, the work of the Jewish Federation impacts thousands of lives.  Through our local partner agencies and synagogue initiatives, we seek to meet the needs of Jews throughout Central New Jersey  while providing a safety net for Jews around the world.    More...

Jewish Education

Jewish education among children, both formal and informal, is an excellent predictor of future Jewish involvement as adults. The Federation sponsors educational programs such as day school scholarships through the Jewish Educational Center in Elizabeth and  supplemental Hebrew schools at area synagogues, as well as  Israel experience opportunities for young people.
